Marvel has dropped the second official trailer for animated superhero sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The three-minute clip offers some more tantilising details about the upcoming blockbuster, including showing the titular hero facing off against a new villain.
Across the Spider-Verse picks up after the acclaimed and Oscar-winning 2018 film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and sees Miles Morales meet Spider-People from across the Multiverse, with many fan-favourite Spider-Men making their feature debut. It comes from directorial trio Joaquim Dos Santos, Justin K. Thompson and Kemp Powers, with The Lego Movie writer-directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller penning the script alongside Dave Callaham.
The trailer shows off more of the film’s dazzling animation, with different styles used to represent a multitude of Multiverses. It also boasts countless Spider-People from across comic books, TV and other media, while the iconic Spider-Man pointing meme has even been recreated in the film.
