FORGOTTEN HISTORY: The ozzy osbourne biopic is gonna be awesome - The Untold Story

Ozzy Osbourne passed away in July 2025

Jack Osbourne thinks the Ozzy Osbourne biopic will be "awesome".

The legendary musician passed away in July 2025, aged 76, and Jack, his son, has now provided an update on the biopic project.

Asked if he has someone in mind to play Ozzy, Jack told E! News: "Conversations have been had, and we’re very [excited]— if it all works out. It’s gonna be awesome."

Jack hopes the movie will honour his dad's legacy, while also entertaining fans of the late rock star.

Jack said: "I have this mantra, and I always say it, when in meetings with my mom or doing anything with the family business. It’s, ‘give the fans what they want.’ That’s our people. That’s who we’re catering for. That’s what my dad wrote music for. That’s what he toured for. It’s why we did the shows we did. It’s been a big theme.

"We’re doing the Ozzy movie with Sony, and I’m always saying in the meetings, ‘We have to give the fans what they want'. We can’t make this artsy, kind of esoteric biopic. No, we’re not doing that, for many reasons, but it’s not what the fans want."

Meanwhile, Sharon previously claimed that Ozzy felt "ready" to die shortly before he passed away.

During an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Sharon shared: "He had told me that he was having dreams in the last week of his life. He was seeing people that he never knew.

"I said, ‘Well, what kind of people?’ He goes, ‘All different people. And I just keep walking and walking, and I’m seeing all these different people every night, and I go back there and I’m looking at these people, and they’re looking at me, and nobody’s talking’. And he knew. He was ready."

Sharon - who married Ozzy back in 1982 - also recalled details of their final evening together.

The 73-year-old TV star said: "He was up and down to the bathroom all night, and it was like 4.30 and he said, ‘Wake up’. I said, ‘I’m already bloody awake, you’ve woken me up’. And he said, ‘Kiss me’. And then he said, ‘Hug me tight’.

"I can’t help wondering if I should have, could I have? If only I’d have told him I loved him more. If only I’d have held him tighter. And he went downstairs, worked out for 20 minutes and passed away."
