An appeal has been launched to find the owner of a small urn that is believed to contain human ashes.
The urn was left on a train between London and Aberdeen.
It is believed to have been left on an LNER service travelling from London Kings Cross to Aberdeen and was subsequently handed into lost property on the train’s arrival in Aberdeen.
The small red urn is wrapped in purple and white artificial flowers and held in the arms of a teddy bear toy.
British Transport Police (BTP) said that according to the information they have available, it was lost at some point in the last four months.
