EXPLAINED: Trains between two scottish cities delayed after fault discovered on tracks | Vintage Vibes

SCOTRAIL passengers travelling between Perth and Dundee are facing delays after a “fault” was found on the tracks.

The train operator has said services between the two cities have been delayed on Wednesday evening due to a safety inspection on the track.

In a statement, ScotRail confirmed that engineers from Network Rail have been called to “fix” a fault that has been found on the tracks.

Customers have been urged to keep up to date with service updates by checking the ScotRail app and website.

A ScotRail spokesperson said: “Due to a safety inspection of the track between Perth and Dundee, services towards Dundee are subject to delay.

“NetworkRail are enroute to fault fix. Please use our app and website for service information.”
