Dozens of holidaymakers were left stranded for hours – stuck on a plane and then inside a departure lounge at Gatwick Airport – after an EasyJet flight to Venice failed to take off.
Gavin Newman, who works at a recording studio in west London, was on the flight with his wife and two children which was scheduled for 3.55pm on Sunday.
