- The American fighter was a passenger to UFC cinematographer Chris Cornell, who briefly lost consciousness and was taken to hospital following the incident.
- Strickland subsequently confirmed on Instagram that he believes both he and Cornell will be fine despite the severe roll-over.
- The 35-year-old fighter previously faced a two-year layoff from MMA following a separate motorcycle crash in 2018.
- Strickland is currently awaiting his first title defence of his second reign as middleweight champion since defeating Khamzat Chimaev in May.
