A group of the UK’s most influential black leaders have launched the Black Equity Organisation (BEO) to advance justice and equality for black people in Britain.
The organisation is the UK’s first national and independent civil-rights group and its launch coincides with the second anniversary of the murder in the US of George Floyd, which sparked the Black Lives Matter anti-racism protests across the world.
