LUCKNOW: Terming the upcoming Urban Local Bodies elections as no less than a "Devasur Sangram" (the war between Gods and demons), Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Friday said that it was time to teach the corrupt and criminals a lesson.
Addressing an election rally in Sitapur’s holy town of Naimisharanya, Yogi noted that the place was associated with Dadhichi who is described in Puranas as a sage who gave up his life so that his bones could be used to make a "Vajra", a celestial thunderbolt of Indra, for slaying demon Vritra.
