BIZARRE: What are wall street analysts target price for echostar stock - What They Never Told You

EchoStar Corporation (ECHO), headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, is a global communications company providing satellite, wireless, broadband, and video services. It delivers connectivity, networking, and content solutions to consumers, businesses, operators, and government customers, leveraging its technology, spectrum, engineering capabilities, and communications infrastructure worldwide. The company has a market capitalization of approximately $25.1 billion.

Shares of ECHO have considerably outperformed the broader market over the past year. ECHO has advanced 68.3% over this period, while the broader S&P 500 Index ($SPX) has advanced 18.7%. On a year-to-date basis, however, ECHO has underperformed, plunging 21.2%, compared with the index’s 12.1% gain over the same period.

Narrowing the comparison, ECHO has also outperformed the State Street SPDR S&P Telecom ETF (XTL), which has gained 61.8% over the past year. However, ECHO has underperformed XTL in 2026, with the ETF gaining 39.3% compared with ECHO’s decline of 21.2%.

On August 3, EchoStar reported its Q2 FY2026 earnings, with shares rising 1.8% that day and jumping 7% higher in the following trading session as investors weighed a massive EPS beat against a revenue miss. EchoStar posted a 4% year-over-year decline in its total revenue of $3.58 billion, amid continued subscriber losses across Pay-TV, wireless, and broadband. EPS was $24.12, compared with a loss of $1.06 a year earlier.

For the current fiscal year ending in December 2026, analysts expect ECHO’s diluted EPS to improve 63% year-over-year to negative $1.35. ECHO has surpassed consensus EPS estimates in three of the past four quarters, while missing expectations in one quarter.

Among the seven analysts covering ECHO stock, the consensus rating is “Strong Buy.” The rating is based on five “Strong Buy,” one “Moderate Buy,” and one “Hold” rating.

ECHO’s consensus rating is more bullish than it was two months ago, when the stock carried an overall “Moderate Buy” rating.

On August 4, Deutsche Bank analyst Bryan Kraft maintained a ”Buy” rating on EchoStar but lowered the price target from $137 to $118.

The mean price target of $124.83 implies 45.8% upside from ECHO’s current share price, while the Street-high target of $156 suggests 82.2% upside.
