Once upon a time, Amazon Prime Day was exactly what it said on the tin: one day of deals, once a year. You had 24 hours to hunt down the discounts before they pretty much disappeared. These days, it looks a little different. Prime Day has grown in popularity and in size, now spanning a twice-yearly shopping event, with deals now spread across a few days rather than crammed into a single 24-hour period.
That means there are more opportunities to save, but it can also make Prime Day a little harder to keep track of. This year’s first edition of Prime Day took place in June, and there’s set to be another as we hit the Autumn months. So, when is the next Amazon Prime Day, and when can we expect the first deals to start dropping? When is Prime Big Deal Days 2026?
Amazon hasn't announced the dates for its autumn 2026 shopping event yet, also known as Prime Big Deal Days. However, based on previous years, we expect it to return in October 2026, most likely in early to mid-October. In 2025, the event took place on October 7 and 8 in the UK, so we'd expect a similar timeframe this year.
How long will Prime Big Deal Days last?
Amazon's Prime Day has grown from a one-day sale to a multi-day event, with the 2026 summer event running for four days, from June 23 to 26. For the autumn Prime Big Deal Days event, we're expecting a shorter sale, likely lasting two days, although Amazon hasn't confirmed the 2026 dates or length yet.
