Actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan revealed he considered quitting acting in his mid-30s after his former manager dropped him for having aged out.
Morgan went on to secure breakout roles in Grey's Anatomy , Supernatural , and Weeds despite his age.
His portrayal of heart transplant patient Denny Duquette in Grey's Anatomy catapulted him to fame with 30 million viewers tuning in weekly.
Morgan later landed his best-known role as Negan in AMC's hit series The Walking Dead, as well as parts in Watchmen and The Boys .
The actor is currently promoting Amazon Prime Video's new teen romance series, Sterling Point , in which he plays a complicated father figure.
