REVEALED: Bathing in the ganges | Vintage Vibes

I created this project as I thought it would be interesting to show how important communities in such a simple activity as bathing can be in India, I think it also shows how friendly the people are in comparison to us Londoners who wouldn’t dream of doing such a thing!

Due to pollution there is a beautiful mist backdrop and alongside all the rubbish along the floor I thought it created the perfect spot for this project to take place.

I especially love the contrast between the quite bleak looking outside to the wonderful colors of the interior changing rooms.

Nothing in this project was posed, I wondered around for a few days capturing life as it happened around me, that is my favorite thing about a personal project, I can shoot what I want when I want with no pressure knowing i need to get certain shots.
