Generation gaps will always exist. There will always be profound differences in values, beliefs, and approaches in life between older folks and younger people.
That disparity may lead to clashes that can sometimes turn embarrassing. Baby Boomers, for example, may shoot themselves in the foot with their statements and overall attitude, much like what you will see through the following images.

Had a convo with a dude about 5 yrs older than I who told me he could work all summer to cover tuition for the next year of school. He bemoaned the fact those days are history.
The two experts observed that people with authoritarian tendencies are much more likely to perceive younger people as “lacking” in something.
“The ‘kids these days' effect is not just a general belief in societal decline,” the researchers wrote. “While people may believe in a general decline, they also believe that children are especially deficient in the traits in which they happen to excel.”

I agree especially with the tone they are set in. My mom is the epitome of a hippie kid, im so stereotypical millennial im pushing 40 and still wearing 90s grunge and my girls are outspoken gen z and talking with them is so eye opening. Ive learned alot from my 68yr old mother about life, ive learned alot from my 18yr old about life. Life is ever changing. Each generation is supposed to grow from the last. We borrow from the world, from our children while we're here, we are just part of the process in a constant evolution. Find the beauty, the lesson, the wisdom, and know how from those who are "different" from you, from differnt generations to understand the past and build a better future.
