Julie Alice Chappell is a freelance artist, sculptor and creator of miniature worlds. She is best known for her 'Computer Bugs' which are smal creatures created from tiny circuit boards, computer components and electronic gadget components. All of the pieces are created from discarded objects. It is hoped that the miniature sculptures act as a reminder of the dangers of 'planned obsolescence and e-waste in our natural environments.
