I know for me it is simply I enjoy or feel drawn to certain "Things". My thing is rap music. Yes they can be bad at it but typically the way it works, (Of course I can only speak for myself) Is that they deeply enjoy it and find themselves doing it or enjoying it so much that they will end up getting good at it.
