That is also a criminal offense, having multiple guns lying around in a household with children
I understand that because thats the case with my cousins but there almost always has to be a bathroom or private corner somewhere

so im guessing youre not from the US?
Unfortunately in the US this kind of thing can, and has, led to child services investigations. In one case a step mom ended up on the sex offenders registry for being topless around her step kids and the birth mom found out.
