What's more disturbing is OP's responses, saying that the older kid probably deserves it. Maybe you should be a parent and keep your older kid from tormenting the younger, and teach your little kid that these things can cause permanant damage if he happens to hit an eye.

That's disturbing that he thinks of physical harm at such a young age.

Ah, but if you're USA, it certainly is influencing our politics and not in a good way, so it does have a bearing on my life.

Ahhh, the bar for "heartthrob" is low. I mean their okay...

Exactly. It's not a beautiful and pleasant world in those books that were written. Just shut up and don't watch if you can't handle it.

I don't get it. The characters in the book notoriously commit incest to keep the bloodlines pure. And now when viewers see that incest they get upset about the incest, even knowing it's written into the nature of the characters. Don't like it? Don't watch. No one is forced to watch this show. It's meant to be repulsive. So if you're repulsed, moved on. Go watch Disney+.

It would have to be a wild estimate like the Bible, but Homer's Iliad and (especially) Odyssey should be up there.

" Best selling" does not automatically mean " Most read", especially in regard to the first three.

Awww... kinda reminds me of Dory in Finding Nemo

Boy I wish we could submit ones from our lives that are much harder situations than these...

I heard an analogy about why discipline and structure are good for kids: Imagine waking up alone in a completely dark room and you have no idea where you are or what’s going on. What’s the first thing most people would do? Try to find a wall, then discover its boundaries. That would make you feel safer than not finding boundaries.

Covid didn't. Keeping kids home watching a computer screen instead of having human interactions did.

I don't know - is there enough force to push the dust all the way through? How is it all exactly getting in the tube... I would like to see this.

Could have just said "that was rude, and please stop using my stuff" instead of wasting blackberry water. Use your words, people

Holy c**p - did you all know gay originally meant happy? Like, no one knew this before? Be still my beating heart. I wonder what other gems Incel Man has yet to tell us.
