"The China Study" reports that a vegan diet cures cancer, but the science is covered up by the powerful pharmaceutical, meat, dairy and medical lobbyists and industries in America to keep the rich 1% happy. Also Americans like their burgers, don't like change and *really* don't like being told what to do, even if it kills them and innocent animals they might say they love. A vegan diet cured me of cancer, so I'm not just bulls**ting.

Jamie, thanks for your comment. If you're comfortable with eating animals, that's your jam, I just hope you choose to buy meat and animal products that are as ethically raised as possible. Meat eating is never going to stop, however the needless suffering of industrially raised animals is a huge problem. My issue is with the long distances that animals often travel to get to a slaughter house, that they may have an inefficient, slow death (due to purposeful abuse or the speed of a production line) and that their lives are often horrendous as they are raised. That's what people need to wake up to.

Here in South Africa there's a shelter called Pug Rescue that just has pugs - that'e where all the pugs in this series are from. People get them because they're cute puppies and then when they get bigger and have health issues or are very clingy, they get fed up of them. It's awfully sad,

"[...]thought that my hair was straw, clearly, it needs more conditioner" made me laugh, I have the same problem with my hair. I love that one of the pigs is named Babe. I want to read a children's book, a comic, or a series of short stories or see a cartoon about Bev and Babe's friendship. Beautiful photos

I think what confuses me is that people will say they love animals, like cats and dogs and horses, etc, and are horrified at the idea that someone would hurt, harm, torture or eat them, but don't bat an eyelid when equally sentient other species are "farmed" for food with untold suffering and fear. I have heard a lot of people say they know where their meat comes from, but become hysterical when they see a video of what that process actually looks like. I think everyone should be able to make their own choices, but it is important they know the truth of what those choices represent, and the meat industry in general is at pains to make sure people really don't know how horrific the entire process is.

I think this uncaring fool also hasn't considered the environmental detriments of eating meat, especially pork and cattle. If you have studied climate change, there is all the more reason to go vegan. Thanks for trying to educate the world. It's too bad that there are such sick people in it like Jamie Sullivan. His parents and the rest of human community are ashamed of him.

I love my black cat. He's my best friend. The shelter told me no one wanted him because black cats are bad luck. He has brought me only good luck and snuggles. He's super affectionate and cheerful. Bless him.
