1) there is no longer "camp money" because it is now a "sticker replacement fund" until the collection has been recovered as best as possible. Stepson may recruit his friends to help with that task if they can contribute in a way that is not harmful to others. 2) OP seriously needs to consider and prioritize a long term plan for her daughter's care and well-being, should something suddenly happen to OP. Clearly the stepdad and stepbrother will not be fulfilling that role in a loving and thoughtful way.

My family were always keen to answer questions about my brother's disability when in public. As he was mostly non-verbal, we also had a card on his wheelchair that said something along the lines of 'Hi, my name is Scott, I have a neuromuscular disability. I can't walk so I use a wheelchair. I can't speak but I understand and I like people talking to me (not at me). Sometimes I make noises when I am excited and I love to laugh, but sometimes I laugh to much and I can't breathe. If this happens my pulse oximeter will make an alarm sound. Don't get scared but find my mum/carer.' I think it also mentioned something about some of his likes and dislikes.

This reminds me of one of my favourite moments when I was in the US - I went to the Brookfield zoo and a volunteer walked up and said "Hey, do you want to see the world's largest scorpion?" and being me I was like "OMG yes I do". He was a bug guy, we chatted for ages and he just does it to share his love of bugs. I think about that guy a lot.
