Our current family cat who's 2 years old (just for the record in my 25 years of adulthood I've had the pleasure of having 6 cats, all lived their entire lives in our home, 5 of course have since passed on; just didn't want anyone to think that we considered pets disposible). Anyway our current kitty is Adriana (my daughter who was 6 at the time named her after her favorite dance teacher). I had one named Midnight-rose, The night before I adopted her I passed by a billboard for the Midnight-rose casino in C*****e-Creek CO. I thought the name was beautiful, believe me it fit her. Also had a Dragonfly, no idea why that name came to me, she was very shy, but very sweet. The other 3 Stardust, Garfield (they were sister & brother), finally there was Eva (which my ex-husband chose) however I did like her name.

20 years ago I was a shift manager at a theater. Compared to the norm that particparticular auditorium is practically a scientific clean room.

Had one a week before my mum passed. Still feel guilty because I had plans to go and visit her for the day after she passed

Wow. That's a terrifying coincidence.

Dreams predicting d***h aren't really a coincidence; people do actually have them. They're not like regular dreams, you wake up right after them & you feel nervous. The ones I've had happen anywhere between 1 day to 2 weeks before the d***h occurs, it happenes whether the d***h is expected or unexpected, family close friends or pets. It's very unsettling.

It takes a special type of person to be a mortician; so I commend you for it.

In the early 2000's I worked at a movie theater that still used 35mm film. Every reel change que, scratch, speck of dirt on the film is engrained in me. Even in the extremely rare event I go to a theater to see a movie (3 times in the last 18 years two of which were re-releases; it'll be 4 come Oct when GWTW is showing again) I still see every phone screen, wisper, & people moving around. So I feel your pain.

It's true, they were there way before I was. 😉

Exactly what I thought - I immediately thought of Coyote LOL

It is the total solar eclipse of 8 April, 2024. In the image the shadow is covering parts of eastern Canada (Quebec and New Brunswick) and the US state of Maine.

I'll just live vicariously through this guy.

The crab is very environmentally aware, knows how to repurpose items.
