Best phone I ever had. And I was an IT and tech expert! I know it lacked apps, but I did not use that many back then. But at the time: * it woke when you picked it up and went silent when you put it face down. * You could easily assign music as ring tones to different people. * You could assign different tones or music to different email accounts. * Live tiles meant you could see a preview of the last email without opening the app, and you could have more than one account on the home screen. * It connected quicker to computers and wifi (My apple phone was a nightmare! One of the reasons I switched to this phone!) * Battery life was 3 days and was so light. * Worked better and did more with my TomTom Live than my iPhone ever did. * Pre amp for music was better than my iPod.

Where I live the weather can be completely different just 2 miles away. Two such examples, one day speaking to nmy friend 2 miles away on the phone while sitting in the sun in the garden he had to run in because it was raining so hard. Another time they got cut off because snow brought down trees on the main road. We did not even have a single flake fall.

I did something similar, but as a joke. I took a personal alarm and wired it to a switch operated by a stiff wire moving. They were used on pinball tables. I cable tied it to the chassis under a box van and put a piece of card on the wire so that when the van reached a certain speed the air pushed the wire and the alarm would sound. But when the driver stopped the alarm stopped! Took him 3 days to find it. Another one was I cable tied another personal alarm under the seat of a car that was operated by pulling a strap that pulled out a pin. I tied a wire to the pin and ran it out of the back door and tied it to a fence so when they drove off the pin ripped out and stayed in the carpark so they could not find it and shut it off.

This actually happened to someone I worked with! He was delivering to a gay pub and trying to take something through the bar on a barrow and a guy sitting a stool was in the way. He asked if could push the stool in (to get by) and the man replied "You could at least buy me a drink first."

Why didn't anyone mention phone systems that you have to press a variety of numbers and wait forever while listening to elevator "music" on repeat endlessly while waiting for some company rep, who isn't even in the country or work directly for the company you're trying to reach? That is the most frustrating thing I can think of and there's nothing you can do except scream "agent" or "representative" when they ask for more info so they can direct you, just so you can repeat it all again 20 minutes later when (if) you get an actual human on the phone. A little tip for renovations. Start with the bedroom. Get it done so you have a place to rest/safehaven. Do 1 room at a time afterwards. Hallways are always the last thing you renovate. When you do the kitchen try and find a small area first where you can setup a temporary kitchen. Takeout is gonna get old real fast, and coffee/tea will keep you sane. If you only have one bathroom/toilet do it when you got time off work so you can get it done as fast as possible. Edit: when you start a project. Make a time schedule. Then add about 40% to it. Nothing is ever easy there are always bumps on the road, and they are easier to deal with when you dont feel pressured from time.
