Interesting fact... These are the smallest of the Antarctic penguins. One identifiable mark is their all black head and the white ring around their eye.

I think you have to give credit to Berg & Høeg instead of dismissing the photos as fake. If you have ever tried to scan a glass negative, you'll be amazed by the quality and resolution.

It looks like these two women were a 'couple' , the idea of which was obviously frowned upon at the time. I enjoyed the photos of them dressing up and having fun as most of us in modern times do.
