The feminists ruined everything for whom? Because for women, being able to go to school, go to work, have an opinion, have a bank account, own a business... All without being threatened it beaten or k****d (although this dies still happen to women at an alarming rate) was an upgrade. For us. I was trying the gratitude thing and distinctly not feeling grateful... so, I would think of something I'm generally grateful for, ya know, like life is better with this person or thing but whatever... then I would really dig in and start thinking about all the ways this made my life better until a genuine feeling of deep gratitude filled me. First time it took 20 minutes. Now, I can get there in under a minute. Not just repeating, ' I'm grateful.' But taking the deep dive, until I feel it, has changed things for me.
