Hi! I’m musicaldashtrash (secretly three ducks named Steve, Sharon, and Skye and a bunch of ducklings in a trench coat) I prefer he/him or xe/xir, but am alright with she/her and they/them. I am genderfluid/fluidflux, omniromantic, and demisexual. I LOVE musicals, such as Mean Girls, Heathers, Dear Evan Hansen, Be More Chill, Hamilton, Hadestown, and Beetlejuice. I mean, there are more, but those are the main ones. I hope we can be friendly acquaintances!!!

If i recall correctly, Dikembe, a giraffe at Denver Zoo (who was the oldest living giraffe at the time, died at 24) was a hybrid, although i don't believe he was 50/50. I *think* he was masai and reticulated. He sired a LOT of calves, the last was Dobby, who was only 4 ft tall at birth. Dobby is now full grown and healthy. But DZ normally has only reticulated. Source: me. I volunteered at the zoo for 9 years.
No. Zoo’s are careful not to cross breeds. It’s actually forbidden by law in a some countries to cross breed giraffes.
