Men Suspect Women Don’t Understand These 30 Things About Them

My dad used to work with a man like this. He came home one day and told us about the horrific vitriol this guy was spewing, and I asked him if he called the guy out for it, went to HR, anything... He didn't. He claimed that he didn't want to start drama because he worked with the guy... Just from my personal experience with men, A) it's statistically likely that the average guy has or will interact with a man like this at some point, and B) otherwise decent men rarely call this behavior out, even when it's blatantly obvious. Also, if we assume that a non-dangerous man is dangerous, at worst, his feelings get hurt. If we assume a dangerous man is non-dangerous, we potentially end up in a body bag. We -have- to assume the worst.

This doesn't matter (as much) if you have an "organism-ni", as the muscular contractions will pull the "tadpoles" toward whichever ovary ovulated most recently. Also, I hear that taking Mucinex (or something similar) thins the cervical mucus and makes it easier for the "tadpoles" to swim through. But I just got sterilized, so don't take my word for it. 🤷‍♀️

And honestly, for 97% of things, there's no reason they -have- to be "manly" or "girly" (read "womanly": I don't like double standards). Skin care isn't a women-only thing. Fixing stuff isn't a men-only thing. We -all- need some pampering, and we -all- need to contribute to the household. Your partner asking you to be part of what they're doing is them wanting to strengthen the bond between you. If it's something you really truly don't like, fine, but if you're just refusing because society is telling you you "should", you might want to rethink that...

So, from what I hear, it has a lot to do with mothers' unmet emotional needs... If their husbands are cold and uncaring (or passive, or otherwise just unavailable), they end up gravitating to the person who makes them feel most loved/needed. Which is often the son/child. And so when the child grows up and gets a partner, for the mom, it feels more like losing a husband than having their child grow up and leave the nest.... Which is totally gross, of course.
