Our dogs mostly came with names and we saw no reason to change them, though they got plenty to nicknames. Frizby dog was the one we got to name, and also known as Mr. Friz, Puppy, and Fribby-dawg. Coco was also called Cookienut, Fuzzybutť, and more, Cheyenne dog was also known as Chiti, Shyster and more. Our cats also get nicknames, include: Pocket, aka The Queen Mum. Pockey Stick, fluffykinz, PockPock, Squeaker and PrettyKittyThatWeLove. Tango Houdini Blue aka Kitten, Ting-Tang-Wallawalla-Bing-Bang, Teeny-Tiny, Tange, Speaker, and Tang. Banjo Red Foxtrot aka Kitten, Banjo-on-my-knee, The Banje, Billy-Goat, Squawker, and BanBan. Yes. Banjo and Tango are both called Kitten. They look nearly identical and are both Pocket's kittens, so we call both of them Kitten when we don't know which one we are Looking at. This is a short list of nicknames.

I bet there was lots of violence. Fists through walls and doors, items thrown across the room, items repeatedly slammed into something until things break. Things like that. Probably with lots of yelling and screaming.

I swear undiagnosed endo is so so much more prevalent than people understand. My BIL in med school had a teaching doctor who had all the students read this woman's file where over and over she complained of severe pain and every single doctor dismissed it and eventually she was sent for a psyche eval. When she died they did an autopsy and she had endometriosis so severe it was on every single organ and she would have been in insane amounts of pain every day. 18 years and not a single doctor helped her. He made them read that and told them to think about it any time they were tempted to dismiss a patient whose pain they couldn't see
With the dots that are visible, not eaten, no he'd not be able to be there. More dots would have to be consumed. At least one

There is also cheese, lunch meat, and sliced bread. But I agree, switch to generic brands, dump the chips and soda and you can buy whole fruits/veggies, some protein, and a lot of beans/spuds/rice/pasta to stretch it all.
Sometimes you need a charge part way through the day. Maybe an overnight power outage. Maybe a really long busy day. Maybe a device with an iffy battery.

The "Happy Birthday" is in cursive, the "wheel chair" is not and looks like it was crammed in as an after thought. I think a second someone wrote "wheel chair," hopefully as an innocent mistake due to not knowing the language.
Ace, they are all from. One mythology or another. While I think od Hermes as the messenger of the gods, not a trickster, he does have a tricky side. Kitsune is Japanese, coyote is Native American, Anansi is, I think, West African, Loki is Norse, and B'rer Rabbit is African American, and probably the youngest of the the list.

Obviously it's unacceptable to be that late in picking up a child without calling the carer. But that's the responsibility of BOTH parents, not just mom.

I don't feel like I was left hanging. We know the short term and middle term fall out. What's left is the messy long term healing and finding the new normal in the family, and that could take years. I expect OP will post on Reddit again, but this particular drama reached a non happily ever after ending of sorts.
Lakota, I didn't mean to question if she was bruised, rather, while she was bruised, was she really injured enough to warrant a hospital visit? If so, where was the teacher? What kind of dodgeball balls were the boys given to cause such injuries? And does it really rate charging the boy as an adult? I believe there is too much missing information to fully judge things. Based on the information we do know, the boy did wrong, deserves punishment. I question how much punishment.

My sister and I don't really get along, and childhood was awful for me and rainbows for her (I'm adopted, she's my parents' bio child, she was the golden child, I was the "weirdo freak".) We still fight viciously to this day because she treats me like I'm still 14 (I'm 44, she's 50.) But I would drop ANYONE else from my life if they were hurting her, bullying her, etc. I would, in fact, go on the warpath. I'm not even a huge believer in "family is your family, you HAVE to love them!" but I still could not countenance being friends/in a relationship with someone whom I KNEW hurt/bullied my sister. Everything else aside, why would you want to be with someone who hurt and bullied another person period, regardless if that person was a sibling or a stranger?
It doesn't matter what type of place the girls want to go to, if ANY member of the friend group is made uncomfortable by the place they go to, they should NOT go to that place. It doesn't matter the gender of the person who is uncomfortable or what the location is.
