Girl, please study up. As a vegetarian myself, I am not against other people eating meat. As a matter of fact, humans are omnivores. (As for me being a vegetarian, that's a personal choice made 2 decades ago). It's the living, transport and conditions altogether on how (stock) animals, and in this case animals most people see as pets, are treated. Taking pigs for an example: Unless you're looking at organic / animal friendly farming, pigs are put into too small pens with too many other pigs all while having to stand on a floor their feet aren't made for. And to top it all off, they're pumped up with antibiotics. What moderation does is make mass breeding of stock animals unattractive, especially if people buy meat from organic farmers.

I don't need to think about that. I know men and women have died to keep our freedom, but calling it glorious is an insult. Our leaders care about no one but their own political agenda and it's been that way for a long time now. That is why war is not glorious. You can ask any vet regarding that verbiage, it's not what they use as a description. I knew men who fought in the Vietnam war that were given blanks by our leaders. They defended themselves by making their own ammunition. They shot children who were strapped with bombs (which is still a technique they use). Tell me what is glorious about killing women, children and other humans?
