I’m fortunate enough to have a neighbour (who is allergic to cats) that welcomes my girl in her garden each day and doesn’t mind her spending most of the day sleeping on her verandah (my girl is very much loved and cared for but I live in an apartment without a garden). I always make sure to send her a Christmas Card each year thanking her for her kindness and hospitality as it means so much to me knowing my cat is in a safe place.
