This one time there was a deadly pandemic that killed millions worldwide, we had refrigerated body trucks in the streets, hospital was chronically collapse-level overwhelmed. The personal protective equipment they gave us for infection control? Plastic garbage bags to wear over our scrubs. Face masks designed for 30 minutes of effective use were worn for days. 115,000 of us died.

I'm so disappointed this post is being downvoted (upvoted to -8). These two are really lovely people, I've been following their journey from well before their wedding, when they only posted about fitness. They've both struggled a lot - miscarriage, eating disorders and you know general problems that come with being queer and being women. They're really lovely people though.

Thanks. This is something that wasn't represented when I was a child. I never grew up thinking that pregnancy could be difficult in so many ways. I wish I new that when I lost 3 babies. I didn't know lesbian couples could have a baby (that sounds stupid today and that's the good news).
