Born as Marija Mrvošević in Belgrade, Serbia, in 1992. I studied Serbian literature and language at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Philology. At the moment, I’m working on gaining my creative writing master’s degree at The University of Melbourne. Writing is something I’ve always done. Believe it or not, my creative journey began in 1995, with a poem „Oh, cloud, my cloud“. And I was so lucky, because in that moment of childish inspiration my mom heard me and wrote the lines – onto the cover of a poetry book of all things! That is why this poem is the basis of my first poetry collection (soon to be published). The only book I’ve had published so far is a short crime novel. These days, I am devoted to writing a Sci-Fi novel, and moreover, I plan to finish my first short story collection.
