To prevent the spread of bacteria etc. if someone has worn scrubs in an operating theatre or on a ward surrounded by patients and have changed bedpans etc, would you want them to wear those scrubs home? Get on a bus and potentially spread any germs from their clothes? It’s a big issue where I work (admin in a hospital). Management constantly telling staff to stop doing it it. Then Staff always complaining about being told off by management, because there are not enough areas for them to change at beginning/end of shift, not enough lockers to store their spare clothes, and adds extra time at the beginning and end of the work day which is unpaid.
