If you value any sort of alone time do not get a Maine c**n. Mine is 2 years old and follows me around more than any dog I have ever had. FYI since I don't think this gets talked about much about the breed - they have many opinions on many things and they are VERY loud about them. Having a gigantic fluff ball that purrs like a '64 Mustang on your chest is totally worth it tho
