Trust me, that car was left there to collect the insurance. My boyfriend and I were hauling cars and after Hurricane Harvey in TX….Mannheim (auto auction) had rented out THREE race tracks there was so many “flood” cars. We saw a lot of high end cars in there and other auto auctions. The flood cars had a waxed pencil line going horizontal as to how high the water was. The lower the better, the higher don’t waste your time or money. The electrical system is probably shot and not worth the effort.

Lifted trucks are a danger. I was at a 4 way and was going to turn right on red. In the lane to my left, was a truck that was super lifted. I couldn’t see around it to SAFELY make that turn. I pull up a little and see it’s clear and off I go. Within seconds, I was getting pulled over for “blocking the crosswalk” that no one was near as it was late at night. So I tell the cop, “Well, if you saw me do that, than you couldn’t have missed the lifted truck next to me blocking my view of any oncoming traffic or pedestrians, right?” Needless to say, I went home ticket free. So yeah, I hate those trucks.

One night on my way home, I was at a 4 way stop. It was just me wanting to turn right and a truck that looked pretty much like this one. I was wanting to right on red but had to pull up a little bit so that I could see around the truck and pull out safely. No sooner as I turned, I got pulled over for some nonsense about blocking the crosswalk. I told the officer, “well if you saw THAT, then you had to of seen the lifted truck to my left that was blocking my view right?” Needless to say, no ticket.

Expensive towels have a lot of fabric softener in them at the start. If you wash them a few times without the softener, they will absorb the water very well, and they are usually denser, wich makes them better than cheap non-dense ones. Just make sure they're cotton, and not polyester.
