Because no truly intelligent being would come up with a design such as ours; if we can see all the flaws, surely a being more intelligent than us could have done a better job. Really ? I was born in 1980s and think a 20-year-old today may be as informed on a topic as a 40-year-old was two decades ago. Wisdom is still hard-earned, but expertise isn't necessarily age-gated anymore.
