still don’t know what shot silk is and I’m too lazy to look it up

I have this dream of a dress that’s made of silver blue silk that looks one colour in the light and another in the shadows
It comes from this book by L.M. Montgomery called Emily’s Quest

Come to think of it, I am very similar to Emily from that book
