By saying what you do, you're pushing the idea that all women should be masculine and all men should be feminine. And that anything else is enforcing gender roles and therefore taboo. This is not feminism. Feminism pushes for freedom of expression and equality in expression. This is not feminism. This is transphobia being hidden by a false perception of what feminism is. Just say you're transphobic. Don't act like you're advocating for women's rights, because you're really not. If you were you'd be advocating for transgender women as well. I know you mean well. And I appreciate it. But sincerely, your actions only hurt people. They don't help.

You preach about how people always misgender you, yet you're out here doing the exact same thing on a much larger scale. I am a trans man. I prefer clothing traditionally defined as masculine. I don't give a sht about tradition, I care about my comfort. I don't like dresses, or makeup. I'm not pushing stereotypes of what it means to be a man, I'm pushing the narrative that no matter your gender your expression has nothing to do with it. You always ignore when I bring up masculine trans women, and feminine trans men. And nonbinary people who exist on both sides. You do this on purpose, because you know it completely breaks whatever stereotypes you enforce in your brain. I hold no grudges against you, and I truly think you mean well. But your anger is misdirected. You should be calling out the people trying to push stereotypes and not the ones that are simply fine with living inside and outside of said stereotypes.

Oza when will you realize you're blaming the wrong people? Toxic masculinity vs being transgender are two entirely different things. People WANT to transition, because it makes them HAPPY. The point of feminism is to make it so everyone is equal and so that there's no such thing as a man in a dress being controversial, or a masculine woman. I fully agree with that sentiment. But that does not mean trans women who prefer dresses and makeup over camo and boots are pushing stereotypes. I believe you're confused on this because you don't see trans women as women. But in reality, a feminine cisgender woman simply existing in her favorite choice of clothing wouldn't be seen as pushing stereotypes. Only is she pushing stereotypes when she says women have to be feminine like her. Trans people are victims of socially constructed gender, not sexism. And frankly, you're one of the perpetrators.

Outpatient is used to re-adjust people who just got out of a pysch ward to life again. Like a stepping stone. Honestly I don't know what the hell they were thinking. I can't help but ask, did they tell you their thought process behind that decision or was it really that they were full? Hospitals can be shallow like that, too embarrassed to say they have no beds available.

When you don't know the person's stance on gender identity it is absolutely best to assume especially when they're traditionally feminine or masculine, because 9/10 you'll find masculine presenting individuals to prefer he/him and feminine individuals to prefer she/her. To note, I am a trans man and do present masculine. However if someone were to misgender me regardless without knowing my pronouns, I wouldn't care. I'd correct them and move on. You'll find that most transgender people are the same way. Very rarely will you find someone who gets mad because you assumed their pronouns. And beyond that it's typically easy to tell who's a binary or trans man and who's a binary or trans woman. That's simply a societal fact and there's nothing wrong with acknowledging it. It helps to have the mindset of "is that a man, woman, or nonbinary person?" That's how you assume.

That's not the part I disagreed with. I agree that you shouldn't assume, never said otherwise. What I don't agree with is being creepy as hell and asking someone's sexuality. None of your business. As for asking about gender, also none of your business. That gets complicated and personal very fast. There are people who are questioning regardless. Just ask for pronouns. Besides, why would you even need to know whether someone is a man or woman or anything else? It should have no relevancy to how you treat the other person, so why ask? You mean well but there's a line that shouldn't be crossed. And even then there are situations where you should be assuming instead of asking. You can't go to a small town in Texas at a church barbeque and ask people their pronouns. Heck, even in New York.

There's more- can't forget how the bill makes it so that students can't be openly themselves at school. Teachers would have to out them to their parents, if they don't they get sued or fired. Who? Where? When? How? Kindergarteners are NOT taught sex ed. What they aren't but SHOULD be taught is "the prince fell in love with the princess" is the same as "the prince fell in love with the prince" THIS is homophobia and transphobia. Trying to erase PEOPLE. Just because they're different. The don't say gay bill makes it so diversity and inclusivity is non-existent for trans and gay students, or students with trans or gay parents. Teachers won't be allowed to talk about gay people or trans people. They'd literally be fired. Kids can't do it either, and if they do the teacher can't step in if the student is bullied. That's why the bill is nicknamed "don't say gay". Though apparently common sense isn't common in your world.

Uh no, people ask for pronouns so they can make sure the other person isn't uncomfortable. You're not the same as everyone else, some people do mind getting misgendered. If people ask for your pronouns, it's so they don't make you uncomfortable. If people ask you directly whether you're a man or woman, then that's another story. And we aren't back in the old stereotypes in the slightest. You yourself have stated that you see trans women as feminine men that society tries to push into being female. Except no one is pushing. We're all just doing what makes us comfortable. We have no ulterior motive and we all acknowledge that without stereotypes social dysphoria wouldn't even exist. That's why everyone hates stereotypes so much. Believe what you want, though. Your biased perspective of transgender people won't change just because I repeat myself. Do you. Live and let live.

Right. I acknowledged I was assuming many things but everything i assumed was because of something you said. Aren't you assuming a lot about me too? If you don't like the fact I happen to overthink and that leads to me trying to clarify my point as much as I can, hence the long replies. That's not my problem. I get heated, sure but that's a new one. Over-zealous preacher? I don't attempt to portray myself in any light, and I'm sorry if me expressing my views lead to you believing that. And I'd like to ask a couple questions. Have I at all screamed "damaged bitter and bloody argumentative"? Maybe that's how my posts came off but that's not what I said. I'm flawed.
