Of course I’ll read the study; I asked to see it. The blurb you linked to suggests that Americans are unfamiliar with geography, since we generally aren’t taught it in school. This makes sense, seeing as we have access to a large part of a continent domestically and don’t live in a country the size of a postage stamp, so geography isn’t a very pressing concern. I fail to see how not knowing extraneous knowledge that we were likely never taught makes us “dumb”.
