Look my entire family has schizophrenia. With my uncle having it the worst. That amongst several other forms of mental illness. My daily life is watching My uncle wash demons off of his truck, and fights demons in his white cloak and sword. He says that swamp monsters are crawling up my house and aliens are landing in the back pond. He's always highly paranoid, super aggressive and always blamed me for going in his room moving his things a half of an inch. He beat the hell out of me for this, daily. When I never went in his room at all. He stalks up all hours of the night with a screw driver in his hand saying that someone broke into the house pacing back and forth locking and unlocking and relocking the doors. Mental illness is not funny, but in times like these it personally makes me feel better to make light of the situation. We can't live with this seriousness about us all the time or were all going to go crazy.

A country that invades another country is in the wrong. I do not care if it is russia, usa, germany, whoever. If you fire the first shot you are wrong. Negotiations are the only legitimate international conflict resolution method. Once a shot is fired (from russia or any other aggressor), that country is in the wrong. When a guy breaks into your house, shoots your spouse, and demands your house, you do not say "oh sure, don't mean to offend you.". No, you say "f**k you", pull out a knife from the kitchen, and go down fighting.

Most of those actually dying for Russia (below command staff) are downtrodden ethnic/regional minorities who often are/were conscripted while their families are held hostage to ensure their cooperation. There are many people who when forced to fight for a cause they do not believe in who are willing to die an release their families from the consequences of them remaining alive. Even more are willing to be incompetent because they know that success means there families have no chance of ever getting out from under the thumb of Putin.
