I'm not of either of these cultures, and I know this was trying to say something good. Im truly not trying to be churlish but maybe ask the women there what they would like vs thinking they need to be taken anywhere. Maybe the women of those cultures would prefer to stay, and would rather people use their efforts to help make changes where they are instead of us imposing our need to be the "white knight" on them. This will probably get downvoted to heck, but I'm all for asking people what they need as opposed to deciding what they need for them. I hope that made sense.
