They did read, maybe you should try. Dude dumped her based on hearsay from someone else, with zero proof, ghosted her, and didn't trust her in the least. When confronted several times he "doubted" that version but still didn't want her. Only when unavodaible proof was presented, he "accepted" she was not a cheater. He never even acted like she was the actual victim in the story. Boyfriend is a POS and it's sad OP has been with that for 4 years, cause the problem wasn't tammy.

In cases like this, where there were plenty of warnings (and I believe Cumbria was under an Amber weather warning at the time), then if they are safely rescued, they should foot the bill for the cost of getting the Mountain Rescue team out. Most (if not all) Mountain Rescue teams in the UK are run by volunteers and maintaining the equipment doesn't come cheap. I'd have been grounded for life if I did something like that as a teenager.
