hi. in my opinion piranhas aren't that dangerous. they are sometimes misunderstood, creatures. maybe you should be aware of them but also people swim in the water where they live and come out unharmed.

Wow, that’s impressive, especially seeing as the average age these tortoises live to is 150. I just read that he is still going well but is pretty much blind due to cataracts and has lost his sense of smell. But other than that he seems to be healthy.

Chinese medicine has so much to answer for. Whilst I understand it isn’t just that which is causing the loss of so many amazing animals but it is a major factor. There needs to be better control and the governments need to stop turning a blind eye. The stupid thing is Rhino horns are made of keratin, the same protein that makes fingernails and hair. I wonder if pulling off the finger nails and rip the hair out of the culprits will change things (probably not). We have lost too many animal species due to human greed and selfishness. Makes me so sad.

Piranhas don’t live in the ocean as it initially states near the beginning of the clip. Also Piranhas are not as bad as people think, the only time that people are really in danger or being attacked by Piranhas (besides when catching them) is if they are wounded, bleeding and in distress. They sense the distress and see an easy target. On rare occasions people have been attacked (not killed) because the water levels are low making food scarce and also if you disturb their spawn.
