One thing I don't think gets mentioned enough when discussing male privilege is our ability to whip it out and let loose... whenever the need arises. I once pïssed off the side of a mountain. You can just stand alone in a forest and 360 to your hearts content if you want. So satisfying...

I prefer it when the barber isn't chatty. My reasoning for this is that he has a razor blade near my throat, and I want the guy to be concentrating. I always tip the barber well for pretty much the exact same reason. 🤷♂️ EDIT: If anyone has a razor blade near my throat, I want them to like me.

Okay. Most human retinas have three types of colour detecting cells - cone cells. Their wavelength sensitivity overlaps - so, no wavelength of light falling on the retina will activate only one type of cone cell. It's the distribution of activation of the cone cells as interpreted by our brains which gives rise to the perception of colour. But what if you *could* activate just one type of cone cells? Well now. Some researchers (let's call them 'mad scientists', because why not?) have 'mapped a portion of the retina and individually identified each cone cell as either an S, M, or L cone. They then used lasers to deliver tiny doses of light attempting to target specifically the M cone cells' 'The [mad scientists] who experienced olo said that the closest color to olo in the sRGB gamut is hexadecimal code #00FFCC'. A fun fact to bury David's asinine comment: in the Czech language, we have two words for ""pride" - "pýcha" and "hrdost". "Pýcha" is the sinful one, the false illusion of your own superiority. "Hrdost" is a positive word, a good feeling about yourself and your capabilities after you accomplish something important. "Pride parade" is translated as "Pochod hrdosti".

If I'm not mistaken, the right one is TheCybersmith - he became sort of a meme since he spews pseudo-intellectual theses so absurd it makes you worry about his sanity. He's nicknamed "Human pet guy" because one of such musings.
