Evan Stoler is an artist who seeks to develop a new process with unusual materials when it comes to making art. For this series, with the title “It Was All A Blur,” Stoler pours sheets of glue and mixes in food coloring and then stretches those sheets over canvas or wood panel. Stoler is interested in exploring themes such as memories, perception of time, and the afterlife. The sizes range from 9″ x 12″ to 3 feet by 4 feet and some pieces include charcoal, staples, and other materials.
