EXPLAINED: I love painting bicycles | Rare Historical Photos

I am a Berlin based Indian artist, illustrator and storyteller. My love for bicycles goes a long way, I have been fascinated by this two wheeled wonder since my childhood.

In India, where I come from, a bicycle mostly is a poorman’s vehicle (at least that’s what I think) but when I came to Europe I was pleasantly surprised that it’s a necessity. Apart from going for long bicycle rides I also love painting them in watercolours. Here I try to show the beauty of this wonderful machine with one image from Europe and the rest from India.
