DARK SECRETS: Modern day fairy tales | Rare Historical Photos

Every other day I wake up, I see a tree-less, more concrete world, instead of grass, fields of sunflowers. Streets are turning into industrial zones with a lot of ugly buildings, rivers filling with garbage, children playing with tablets and computers. Nothing seems to bring joy nowadays, nothing is how I remember it was and nothing is how it’s supposed to be!

In order to raise awareness about the environment and bring a dose of enchantment and joy, I wanted to create these photo sets which are inspired by the beautiful nature that surrounds us, a little of what’s left of it anyway, and of course – on the magical fantasy of the child within!

I have been shooting fairy-tale themed photos for more than 2 years now and the best thing about them is that none of them are photoshopped (except for the craters of the moon, which I desperately wanted to draw but the white-glass-bowl wouldn’t let me draw on it, pssst… don’t mention it!), everything is hand-crafted, hung somewhere or held by someone!

May they bring light to your gloomy day, and may they fill your sunny day with enchantment!
