Almost a year ago, I shipped my old DSLR off to be converted to be able to shoot near infrared. As I began to explore the medium, I found countless photos and photographers shooting amazing landscapes but less who shoot their photos in cities. I love architecture and can’t seem to escape taking pictures of urban environments and found the city especially well suited to exposing itself in the infrared spectrum.

The countless hours I spend walking around DC, camera in hand have yielded some pretty fun photos of a city that is very well known to the world. I hope this changes the perspective a bit.
