My sweet little girl was returned to the shelter 3 times before I got her. Still don't know who couldn't love that cuddle bundle of fluff. I had to put her to sleep last week (cancer), and literally one of the last things I said to her was "I'm so glad those other idiots gave you up so that you could spend your life with me."

Anne Reardon did a great video on her YouTube Channel explaining why this was so incredibly dangerous. Basically, the homemade machines raise the voltage but also remove every safeguard. It's so much juice that, even if your hands are protected, brushing your arm against the table could send enough electricity through your body that you're dead before you hit the floor.
I don't see here where the items were worth $67. Has the article changed? All I see is where she paid for other items she was buying at the same time, which cost $167

I had a similar experience, but because of celiac disease. Every single solitary doctor assumed I was lying when I told them how little I was eating and how much I was exercising while still gaining weight. It's awful.

Actually, the truth is even crazier. All that was a lie spread by the accused on social media and the news to turn public opinion in his favor. Not only had he never paid his child support or had the suspension removed, he'd NEVER had a license in his life! (the suspension was a "if you do get a license, it'll be immediately suspended" thing) AND, in yet another crazy twist, when they went back to court, the judge was like "so you claim you couldn't get this suspension removed on Dec. 28 because you were injured so you couldn't go to the secretary of state. However, we know that's not true because on Dec. 28 you WERE AT THE SECRETARY OF STATE getting your ID card."
I have celiac disease. Literally 1/72 of a slice of bread contains enough gluten to trigger a reaction in most celiacs, and some people are even more sensitive. It makes your immune system destroy the cilia in your small intestine, leading to a variety of horrible symptoms that can take months to end. This was unconscionable.
