I spent a year interviewing for embalmer positions and got told "Oh. Well, all the women are in the front office. It's smelly and dirty in the prep room, are you sure you'd be able to handle it? You'd have to use... yanno, chemicals and machines and such. You'd have to embalm men, too." verbatim soooo maaanyyy tiimmmess.... #%#'FF%%#$$"^/=×%;*</!!!!! No really, jack@ss? I thought only women died and had funerals and we embalmed by waving sticks of incense and chanting!! Jerks.

You could try the 54321 method: listing 5 positive things you did that day, 4 positive things you like about yourself, 3 of your favorite things to do, 2 reasons to be alive, 1 hug that you give yourself.
