My exgirlfriend's boyfriend (poly relationship) was amazing at chess. Nationally ranked master. She would laugh when I said I was going to beat him eventually. We called him a robot. For a promotion once, a local ice cream shop hired him to play against customers and anyone who beat him got free ice cream.

There was no free ice cream given on that day.

25 “Interesting But Creepy” Photos You Might Not Be Able To Look Away From (New Pics)

One of my longest friends struggles with this and with him he will have totally normal thought processes for hours but then you'll see his eyes change. You can tell hes getting angry, upset and overwhelmed. If im with him i can pull him aside and he'll tell me something like "i know everyone at work hates me and that they're whispering about me behind my back today." Its not true and bc he trusts me I can usually get him to quickly believe it's his mind trying to trick him. He'll often be able to get through work "normally" but his mood can't recover from the nose dive. Its crazy that you can watch it unfold without him speaking. How scary it must be to know you're losing control of your brain and you gotta trust someone else's for right now.

My friends house in the mid eighties. In the basement her dad had all these board games hung up on the walls. After the game would end her dad would glue the remaining pieces to the board game showing how the game ended. Kinda weird.
