If my children were younger, I'd introduce them to pads (disposable and reusable) tampons, and diva cups. We'd have a chat about the pros and cons of each, and then they would be left to experiment. It's their bodies. What worked for me, might not be best for them.

I don't get the weirdness around tampons. I was absolutely done with blood diapers by my second cycle and immediately went to tampons. They were so much more comfortable and I didn't feel like a blood mess every time I went to the bathroom or got dressed.

They say they have the right to guns, the right to defend property, the right to protect ourselves, but not the right to control our body, protect our health, or decide our own future. We should not go through the world constantly afraid knowing our bodies are not not our choice. Not your body, it shouldn’t be your choice.

future, my body would go toward pregnancy and not dance, my energy would go towards parenting and not school. But I’m one of the lucky ones.
